Huge Thanks go out to
mzrison for the awesome JC icon. Yes, I said it J-C.
Because he is sexay with the fauxhawk. Y'all bettah recognize.
Now, it's time for the latest installment of Truthful Admissions from the Laptop of Camshazam. ::ahem::
The name Camshazam is actually a rip-off of a nickname JC Chasez said was his: "Shazam." Many might not know this, but the *NSYNC obsession began in the Bye, Bye, Bye era of the summer of 2000 with an effusive love for the Leo in the group, JC. It wasn't until 2001 that JT stepped up to the plate and knocked it out the park. (That, you may remember, is when JT cut off his Goldilocked curly-fro, slowed his roll with the Ebonics and became a man.)
It made my heart (and other parts) go thumpity thump thump thump. But the username is still a nod to the love for JC....and the fact that his voice is better than Justin's.
!!!
Really. I can't believe I just put that in print.
And I hate like Rock Your Body and (She Said) Take Me Now creeps me out 'cause it sounds like Michael Jackson trying to push up on his sister, Janet. Plus, JC's album Schizophrenic was a much better album for the risks it took and I play it more often.
And so what you said it once? The phrase "Dirty Pop" never caught on. So there!!
And you're selfish in concert--why not just take a second to freakin *visit* the other side of the stage for once--and only really smile at fans when the cameras are on you, Justin! Bad, Bad, Popstar. Bad!!!
You sucked at that celebrity All-Star basketball game!!!!
McDonald's kept your song, but dropped you from the ads. Nanny-nanny-boo-boo!!!!!!
!!!
:: claping hands over mouth ::
Oh. My. God. Mercury is just making me outta control.
...end the transmission. They've had enough.

I remember being SO excited finding out that *N was working with The Neptunes on a track. "Girlfriend" and I was super-effing disappointed when I heard that song. I don't know the words to anything other than the hooky chorus and the video's lame. To this day, I still skip that track. The only songs I truly loved on the Celebrity album are "Gone" and "Something like You" --mostly because they got Stevie Wonder to play harmonica on it. "Tell Me, Tell Me Baby" and "Just Don't Tell Me That" are other faves.
But that's outta 13 tracks!
PS. I don't like Justin's Trying-to-be-ugly beard.
OOH! I just flashed on another part of my dream. I was talking about this very subject with a group of people. Also in the group was Jennifer Anniston. I was saying something like, "and he even wears this ugly beard and it's like he's trying to be unattractive, like brad.." and I swallow my words because Jen's there. She leans over and taps my hand and finishes my thought, "they're trying not to care about their image. I had one like that."
Then I spent the next few minutes trying to get JenAn alone to ask her if me bringing up Brad Pitt was upsetting.

is it possible that JT obsession is starting to fade ever so slightly? it's ok. Obsessions take a lot out of a person. It's inevitable that they should lose some energy after a while. Doesn't mean the love isn't still there, just means that your able to focus on the list of boys that are waiting in line to be Camshazam's next obsession.
Russell Crowe eat your heart out.

I'm a bit of a pissed off fan right now because this group isn't generating anything for me to ingest. Trust me, if they announced a reunion tour, I'd be allupinnit. They're just falling under the outta sight... heading right now.
And please believe that I still maintain the uber-annoying ability to make any statement/thought refer in some way to JT. That irritating mutant power of mine has not faded with time.

JC can sang.
What got JC respect was he was the male voice on the "Bring it all to me" song by Blaque that I'd heard in 2000 on black radio. I was like, "n-uh, that's a black guy" and my friend Lori proved to me it was JC from NSYNC.
Now, I hadn't been fooled like that since Lisa Stansfield's debut on American airwaves. So, he got mad props for bringin' it.
Fave song to hear JC sing: Dear Goodbye. I hugged him after the House of Blues show and couldn't articulate what that song does to me. I think I sounded a lot like him in interviews
me: And Dear Goodbye? That was like... ::clutching my heart and ripping it out and tossing it on the floor:: That hurt. It was awesome.
JC: ::smiling politely and wondering how the hell he knows me or the group I'm with:: yeah. Thanks.

that was my 2nd time "meeting" him. the 1st was at the Tom Green show (where I'd met lance a week or so earlier) and I was just like "I'm only here to get an autograph for my boss's daughter." :) he was beyootiful though. like, I thought the kid had his own lighting kit...and skinny?!?
side note: I'm really trying to push the point that JT and Orlando bloom are similar looking. Build, bone structure, proportion of eyes to mouth... when he was Legolas, I gasped because I was like "no one told me JT was in a movie!" I have a side-by-side comparison chart I've built. It's uncanny, really.

That's okay, though. I still think you're the bomb.
